Online Safety Community

We are looking for partners to make a commitment to safety by joining our Wolf Pack. By joining the pack, you are committing to the safety and well being of first responders and your own workforce.

WHY A WOLF PACK?

The wolf is the symbol of the John Petropoulos Memorial Fund (JPMF) because it stands for leadership, loyalty and a strong sense of family. These traits are important when it comes to workplace safety and maintaining a culture of safety.

WHAT IT MEANS TO JOIN OUR WOLF PACK

We are seeking individuals, organizations and corporations that will join our Wolf Pack by making a donation of $500 to the JPMF, which is a registered Canadian charity. This donation is not only a strong endorsement of the workplace safety work we’re doing – it’s a commitment to a safer workplace for your employees.

All members of the JPMF Wolf Pack will receive the following safety resources:

GOALS OF THE WOLF PACK

No, we aren’t just going to howl at the moon. The Wolf Pack has several goals, including:

  • Promotion of workplace and traffic safety
  • An initial membership of 30 companies
  • Distribution of JPMF safety resources
  • $15,000 fundraising goal in support of our safety initiatives

It is our hope to announce that our Wolf Pack is 30 members strong by NAOSH Week 2013. Such an announcement would represent a strong commitment to safety for the JPMF and pack members.

JOIN THE WOLF PACK

Joining our pack is simple. Just make an online donation of $500 (under the designation “Wolf Pack”) or mail a $500 cheque to:

John Petropoulos Memorial Fund
#347, 440 – 10816 Macleod Trail SE
Calgary, AB, T2J 5N8

After we receive your contribution and contact information, you will receive a charitable tax receipt, the safety resources mentioned above and a Wolf Pack Certificate.

If you have questions about this initiative, please contact JPMF Managing Director Ian Wilson at 403-891-4269 or ian@jpmf.ca

*Safety presentations are free within the Province of Alberta. We will waive speaker fees outside of Alberta, although companies may be responsible for covering the cost of travel and accommodations.
