Good Afternoon Everyone,
I have a question about the need for eyewash stations and the use of a chemical system that eliminates splash and dilutes the chemical so it eliminates the hazard. I have customers in the grocery store industry who use the SaTFlo system that encapsulates chemicals and eliminates employee exposures. I was recently told by a compliance officer that utilization of this system would eliminate the need for an eyewash station. One of our clients recently recieved a citation for this system for not having an eyewash station. I am confused? Does anyone know if this system would require an eyewash station?
