My unusual safety tips - Don't drink sweet fruity juice while driving in the night as it contains sugar and sugar slows down your blood pressure which eventually makes you feel sleepy.

Due to snow fall in UK please hire some good home removals company to make your move safe in winter if you are planning to move or you can postpone your move and can store your stuff with some good London based self storage company.

Best to do it when nobody's watching, I find. No cars close by in front, behind or at the side.

Then, even with a momentary lapse of attention while you struggle with the bottle top one handed, with the bottle gripped tight between your thighs, you are unlikely to cause anyone a problem. Similar considerations apply to taking a bite of a sandwich.

Forty years of doing this (on long trips) has taught me that much, anyway!

Flame Resistant Aprons

Don't eat anything if you're in the middle of something very important. Because if you eat, you might lose the flow of work and chances are that you will make blunder. That's why, try to control your hunger until you finish the task.

good information.. thanks for sharing it.

I buy a bag of those little tooth picks with the dental floss on the end - after eating junk food in the truck, flossing your teeth not only makes my dentist happy but it keeps me awake behind the wheel.

Good idea, Terry. Keep sharing the unusual health and safety tips guys. It will be very useful for others. I feel proud of starting such a thread here.

Workplace Safety

Never use cell phones while driving, it not safe for your and even more dangerous for other drivers on the road!

For non smokers: Don't smell the smoke of the cigarette smoked by others. You'll be called as a passive smoker and being a passive smoker you'll get cancer faster than the smoker himself.

My initial reaction is to say NO HEADPHONES WHATSOEVER, but my ops manager is concerned it will drastically reduce morale. I suggested that each department should have their own radio and they can play music for everyone to hear, at a…See More
