My company has a fairly progressive "green" initiative, both in terms of using recycled materials and also from a facilities and resource management perspective. To view our initiative visit www.wearwell.com and click on Media. I would like to know what other manufacturers are doing and how their actions are being received by customers.

We have two areas where we can readily support green inititiatives. Our packaging for most products specifies the use of recycled content in both fiberboard and corrugated packaging. We also have several projects underway to reduce energy utilization in manufacturing. Much of the technology is new - some is proprietary. The results are a forecasted decrease of 35% in energy use between 2004 and 2013 and a 15% reduction n CO2 emmisions.
