What Goes On During an OSHA Inspection?

According to Section 5 (a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, otherwise known as the “general duty clause,” it is the employer’s responsibility to provide a safe and healthful workplace for their staff. OSHA has the right to conduct workplace inspections anytime unannounced, regardless of whether employers are following the OSH Act or not.
