Need help ASAP with Residential Fall Protection/Restaint Anchors for HVAC installers

All of my residential HVAC installers are required to go up on the roof of residential homes for about 10 mins to seal the chimney. Home Builders here do not install tie off anchors. According to legislation we are required to tie off when above 3 metres. Some of my guys will tie off with a long rope attached to their trucks or pray they don't fall or hope that OH&S doesn't walk onto site!!!! This is not acceptable. We are always the subcontractor onsite and continue to battle with the home…See More

3 Costly Mistakes to Avoid in Safety Training at Teleseminar

August 13, 2009 from 1:30pm to 3pm
Is your safety training lacking excitement? Are employees more concerned about what kind of donuts to choose from rather than the life saving information you’ll be providing?Don’t feel bad, you’re not alone. The question is…would you like to change the response you get to your safety training? Each year employers lose billions of dollars to employees missing work due to injuries, man-hours from missed work, and medical and legal costs.Unfortunately, training is often viewed as an expense rather…See More

Kelley,
I would be happy to provide you with any tools that would be helpful to you. Your request requires me to alot an adequate amount of time to properly address the topic of assessing and implementing best practices for hand safety in a sheet metal fabricating environment. I will get back to you soon.
