OSHA Issues Final Rule on Cranes and Derricks in Construction

As of July 28, 2010 the Office of the Federal register has posted aspecial filing of the final rule for OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1926 –Supart N – Cranes and Derricks in Construction.  The change in this rulecame about due to the orginal rule (written in 1971) becoming more andmore obsolete as new technologies have developed in the last 39 years. For example, in 1971 hyrdraulic cranes were very rarely used inconstruction, whereas today they are considered the most prevelant formof lifting. …See More

There's hundreds, if not more, options for companies out there when it comes to online, web-based EH&S software solutions.  My organization, RiskAnalytics and our dBa Safety Management Corp are attempting to change the culture when it comes to cost.
