If anyone out there has heavier workers you should make sure that there fall protection is properly tested. The ANSI standard only covers fall protection for employees that weight 310 lbs with any equipment, such as tool belts. Most of the time this not an issue, but it does not mean it doesn't come up. Extra care has to be taken when fitting heavier workers to make sure the harness does not encroach on the neck or cut off circulation to the legs. Consideration for the amount of time the employee may suspended before rescue should be accounted for. This is the first time I have put anything on a blog, so I hope it is the right way of doing it.
