5 Rope Access Techniques used in industry – Rope Access Services Dubai

Rope access is the effective way to complete number of work right from building maintenance to railway bridge inspection.

As it’s  high risk skilled trade and contains potential hazards , it is essential to implement some techniques for the entire process, which helps us to make sure that the work is finished in protective manner as well as in high possible standard

The below mentioned 5 techniques are the techniques which we use to carry our rope access work.

Ensure whether Your Harness is attached at Two Points

This has been used mainly for 2 reasons

  1. Safety
  2. Precision

If you attached yourself in these 2 points then the hazard is minimized fully and it allows you to move in correct manner

Fall Arrest

It is used when this method is necessary.  It is used and needed when there will case of free falling – fall arrest limits it to keep in minimum.

This method is accessed only by checking the safety equipment which are used by the workers. Like ensuring whether their helmets are being worn by them always and keeping the harness attached in appropriate point. This makes them to remain vertical

Ascending and Descending the Rope

Ascending and descending the rope are one of the major necessities of individual who wants to work in rope access business, as the technique is often updated

Knowing how to ascend rope is taught in the beginning with training. As Newton stated, Whatever goes up should come down. Know and understanding both the techniques are quite important in this field

The Tying of Knots:

For some important reasons, it is a mandatory component of rope access

This also taught in the early time of training to people who wish to work in rope access technique. It comes under level 1 of IRATA certification scheme

There are number of knots which the employees needed and to do, know the ways on how to complete it, everything helps them to successfully finish their work in your building with high possible standard

We are aware and make our workers to be updated in new techniques on how to develop access and different ways to tie knots are coming out.

Anchor Systems

This procedure is not constantly utilized, it is used only periodically and particularly with regards working in rooftops or in case of confined space to work. Also this strategy is accessed mainly for the purposes of safety – those who are working are at far minimum possibility of hazard of falling when this system is set up.

If somebody somehow were to fall, it will definitely  decrease the distance during the time of fall , by guaranteeing their health and safety at work.
