Choking, asthma and allergic reactions are all classed as breathing emergencies. If you discover someone choking you must call 999 immediately. Most people think you should use the Heimlich maneuver if somebody is choking but this is incorrect. Only use it in extreme circumstances and if the person clearly cant breath.
The most common breathing problem at work is an asthma attack. If this happens locate their inhaler and help them take it.
If an allergic reaction arises find the EpiPen and administer the shot. If these devices cannot be found call 999 straight away.
Tip 2. What To Do In A Diabetic Emergency
When a person has low blood sugar, they have hypoglycemia which can lead to the body entering a shock state. Hyperglycemia is caused by low insulin which can put people into a coma. Tip 3. Prevent Falls.
Falls can be the most common office injury. Your workplace aisles should be clear and spilled drinks are mopped straight away. Any mopped areas should be clearly signposted to prevent slis.

Obviously most office jobs require sitting at desks for a long period of time. This can lead to a lot of problems later in life. Slouching could cause muscle problems that could take years to sort out.
Don't overextend your arms as you type.
Allow workers to have a stretch at regular intervals.

Acting quickly will reduce a burn’s impact. Coffee spills and electric fires are the main causes of burns in the office. Usually a cold water tap should do the job but any worse and you’ll have to take a trip to A&E.
