What are the most useful tools to have at your fingertips?
-Daily Reports, etc.
What is falling through the cracks that could be an easy fix? Safety Managers, Coordinators and Directors are busy enough, what could make their lives easier?
Daily safety reports can be the most effective tool to keep the workers safe on site. There are also some remote monitoring solutions available online to track the performance of the worker and helps to ensure their safety by online monitoring them and provide immediate help whenever required.
From my perspective, i think toolbox talk is very useful for safety at workplace. Through this medium, workers and their supervisors are directly involved and safe work procedure ,JSA, Method of Statement etc will be communicated to everyone involved in the work. This will help to refresh the memory of workers on whole processes and most effective safe approach involved in the work to be performed.
Do you think rebar coupling will make the construction process safer? You can read more about it here: http://www.hardman-de.com/technology/rebar-couplers.html It will surely make the house really stable to prevent any damage in the case of earthquakes or tornados, and I'm certainly interested in construction safety. They use this technique a lot in industrial construction, so that certainly proves its benefits for me. I was working on a project where we had to work with a structure made with rebar couplers, so I see that as a nice option.
