One of the most important factors when searching for a new family car is safety. If you're driving your children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews around you want to know that they are as safe as they can be when you're looking after them.
And of course most modern cars are very safe, as they have to adhere to strict safety standards and the results of crash testing are publicly available for you to peruse, enabling you to find the safest vehicles on the market.
